Master Class 2010, Grand Concert
Helena Döse Master Class 2012 will be the seventh event in a successful series of Master Classes in Kungälv, Sweden. World renowned David L. Jones, Ulrich Staerk, Anita Astrand together with Helena Döse are teaming up to deliver high quality voice education. The course starts Tuesday July 31st and ends with a public concert Wednesday August 8th. A selected group of 12 singers will be admitted.
Faculty
David L. Jones´ knowledge and understanding of the old world vocal training plus his scientific understanding of the voice, together enlighten and inspire teachers and singers globally.
Ulrich Staerk is giving interpretation classes and is an expert coach for young singers. Ulrich is a much sought-after pianist and accompanist in international opera houses and concert halls.
Anita Astrand guides the participants to the “Elsatecnique“ for functional freedom and body consciousness.
Helena Döse is appointed Royal Court singer of Sweden and has 40 years of stage career at the most significant opera houses around the world. Helena will make the students fully understand that "everything you do on stage is a matter of life and death. To become a singer is not only a question of singing beautiful lines, but to tell a story and get the audience interested."
The course fee is SEK 15.000:- for 9 days of class including 10 nights of accommodation in 2-bed room (single room at extra cost) and full board.
Last date of application is July 10th, 2012. Use the application form and attach a CD with 3 sample songs or arias and send to Helena Döse by regular mail. Please make a pre payment of SEK 2.000:- to confirm your application.
