Master Class 2009

Master Class 2009 is the fourth event in the successful series of Master Classes in Kungälv, Sweden. It is a unique opportunity for young singers to improve their performing skills with highly experienced professional teachers.
World renowned David L. Jones and Anita Åstrand are teaming up with Hovsångerskan Helena Döse to deliver high quality voice education.
They are backed up by the great pianist Ulrich Stærk who is having his own interpretation class.
The classes will be held at Musikskolan (school of music) in Kungälv near the city of Gothenburg. The participants are staying at Nordiska Folkhögskolan from July 30th until August 10th, 2009.
This year, David Jones will conduct his classes in the theatre at Mimers hus. The sessions are held in the afternoon and are open to the public.
