Master Class 2009, Grand Concert
In cooperation with Kungälv Kommun & Nordiska Folkhögskolan, supported by Cantorum choir, Gothenburg Master Class 2010 is the fifth event in the successful series of Master Classes in Kungälv, Sweden. It is a unique opportunity for young singers to improve their performing skills with highly experienced professional teachers.
World renowned David L. Jones and Anita Åstrand are teaming up with Hovsångerskan Helena Döse to deliver high quality voice education.
They are backed up by the great pianist Ulrich Stærk who is having his own interpretation class.
The classes will be held at Musikskolan (school of music) in Kungälv near the city of Gothenburg. The participants are staying at Nordiska Folkhögskolan for the courses' duration.
This year, David Jones will conduct his classes in the theatre at Mimers hus. The sessions are held in the afternoon and are open to the public.
Application Details
Last day of application is June 20th, 2010. Please use this application sheet and attach a CD with 3 sample songs of yourself.
In order to confirm your application it is necessary for You to pay SEK 2.000:- before July 1st, 2010.
The course fee is SEK 15.000:- for 10 days of class including 11 nights of accommodation (2-bed room) and full board.
